Early Intervention Services
Working in conjunction with state Early Intervention programs, the RI Auditory Oral Program Teachers of the Deaf and Speech Language Pathologists work as members of the child's IFSP team (Individual Family Service Plan)providing support for both children with hearing loss and their families. From accompanying families to audiological appointments, to working with children in their home or day care environment, our staff work to teach not only the student, but their family as well. We strive to provide families with the training and tools necessary to be their child's primary teacher during their early developmental years.
